Hurricane
Charley, Frances, and Jeanne
(Starting Friday, August 13, 2004, all of these hurricanes
affected our general area in one way or another. We really
lucked out that Ivan steered away)

On
Wednesday, August 18, 2004, we traveled with some other Horse
Owners from Pinellas and Hillsborough County with 4 truck and
trailer loads of feed and hay to the Punta Gorda Humane Society
Staging area. On Saturday August 21, 2004 we took a load
of miscellaneous feeds over to Wauchula. On Sunday, August
29, 2004, we sent pet supplies over to Polk County. Here are a few pictures I shot at
various
staging areas and out of the truck window. |

These trees survived but are frozen in this position. Fire Station near Port Charlotte Wauchula - Livestock Arena Wauchula - Livestock Arena Alfie - posing with supplies to go over to Polk County
